Coolas Ice Creamery

Hikers returning from the Grampians Peak Trail often stop at the Coolas Ice Creamery to enjoy a sugar rush. From 24 different flavours to choose from, you get to savour the most exaggerated ice cream options available in the territory. 

Apart from housing rich ice cream flavours, Coolas offers you milkshakes, thick-shakes, cheesy hot dogs, toasted waffles, coffee, sundaes and hot potatoes with a variety of toppings. The ice creamery is famous in the area for its homemade waffle cones, making a record of 1500 cones a day during summers.

A new menu has been introduced to provide more choices from traditional restaurant meals to your favourite ‘pub’ style meals. Choose from local Grampians wines as well as 4 different beers on tap.

Open 6 nights a week, beer garden and lounge from 5pm and dinner from 6pm (Closed on Mondays) and lunch on Saturday & Sunday is 12pm – 3pm.

Harvest Cafe

Harvest café offers breakfast, brunch, light meals, lunch and grazing options alongside coffee, tea, sweet treats, local wine and beer.

Gourmet provisions from local supplies can also be purchased as well as pre-made take home meals that can be heated at home - great for dinners.

Halls Gap Hotel

The Halls Gap Pub has a massive verandah along two sides with ample seating to sit out and enjoy the views during the warmer weather and watch the kids as they play on the outdoor playground. The bistro inside has a fireplace for the cooler months and For the kids there is a play area inside and a playground outside. The front bar caters for the simple meals and there is also a drive-through bottle shop.

Open 7 nights a week from 5.30pm and lunch from Wednesday to Sunday 12pm – 2pm.

Fresh bread made daily as well as pies, pasties, sausage rolls, sandwiches, salad rolls, croissants, cakes, tarts, donuts and slices. Special occasion cakes to order as well as wedding cakes.
